Several years ago it seemed that blacksmithing was concerned only with reproducing traditional designs. Now it has become a creative craft offering an opportunity for artistic expression. As with ceramics, there is a sense of magic in using fire to turn raw materials of little beauty into objects which are useful and attractive.
Sally Hardcastle
Sally is a performance designer and community artist based in Essex and London. Since graduating with a BA(Hons) in Theatre Design from Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance she has worked with organisations including the Gate Theatre, National Youth Theatre and Bread & Roses Theatre.
Sally also creates environments and decoration for festivals and events. She has worked with companies including Wild Rumpus and Oblique Arts and curated her own installations.

Snootie Studios
Snootie Studios is a multi-disciplinary design studio run by artists Abbie Freeman and Harry Watson. Our work includes graphic design, illustration, publishing, motion graphics and creative direction.
Abbie Freemans' work focuses on bringing new perspectives on design into our everyday lives, using the humble crayon to question traditional design practices. She also looks at the value of ephemera as inspiration in design. Harry Watson is an emotional male. His work spans disciplines, focusing on understanding and navigating life on the pursuit for love and wisdom.
Build Aid
Build Aid provides construction aid for the relief of need and suffering among victims of natural or other kinds of disaster around the world.

Wakefield Poyser
Wakefield Poyser was formed in 1984 by Jerry Wakefield Diploma Arch. (UNL) RIBA and Jeremy Poyser MCIAT. Both had worked in the same architect's department in local government for about 12 years. Each held senior positions before embarking into private practice.
