Sculpture and Drawing with Ivan Daggett
This wonderful animated work by one of Ivan’s regular class attendees.
Mixed ability classes in sculpture and drawing exploring traditional and modern approaches through individual project work. Participants can choose between sculpture and drawing or a combination of both. Beginners are introduced to a variety of materials and observational skills to gain confidence, whilst those with more experience are encouraged to follow individual project work supported with ongoing guidance. Materials for sculpture range from clay, plaster, stone, wood, wire mesh and plaster, to Perspex, and found objects.
Materials for drawing range from pencil, charcoal and pastel and mixed media.

CLAY PORTRAIT MODELLING
This clay portrait modelling class is a mixed ability course that introduces you to the observational practise of working in clay directly from a life model. It will be run by Ivan Daggett in his studio at Parndon Mill in Harlow, Essex on Monday evenings from 7.00 - 9.30 starting on 3 February 2025 for 10 weeks.
You will be working to scale and shown each stage of construction of the features of the head. You will be making a clay portrait for ceramic firing. The model will be working from 7.15 to 9.15 to allow for set up and clear up time. The charge for the model is costed into the price and is based on £20 per hour for a class of 5 - 6 people for eight weeks (weeks 9 & 10 are for preparing clay model for firing).
